CEC Visit Accident Victims at SNM Hospital Leh, Commend Rescue Teams
Leh, August 24: In response to the recent road accident, Chairman/CEC Tashi Gyalson, LAHDC, Leh; DC/CEO LAHDC Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve, Khaltse Councillor Lobzang Sherab;Nyoma Councillor Ishey Spalzang, Kungyam Councillor Thinles Nurboo; Panamik Councillor Tsering Sangdup;Hunder Councillor Kunzang Lotus;Tiger Councillor Rigzen Lundup; Lamayuru Councillor Dr. Morup Dorjey, and Nominated Councillor Konchok Tsepel visited the SNM Hospital Leh to interact with patients and offer support.
The visit aimed to assess the situation of those affected by the accident, provide reassurance to the patients, and gather information to address their needs effectively. CEC also paid a visit to the New Dialysis Centre. The officials expressed their concern and commitment to ensuring that all necessary medical and logistical support is provided to the victims.
During the visit, the officials also engaged with the patients and hospital staff, discussing the circumstances of the accident and the steps being taken for recovery and support.
Further, H’CEC expressed his deepest appreciation to DC Santosh Sukhadeve for his exemplary leadership in the rescue operation.He also expressed his profound appreciation for the exceptional efforts of the army, air force, police, doctors, paramedics, medical personnel and volunteers. He highlighted their dedication and swift action, which were crucial in the historic rescue operation and instrumental in saving lives.
