CHC Khaltse Organises Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) Camp at Village Beema.
Khaltse, February 27, 2026: The Community Health Centre (CHC), Khaltse successfully organised a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) camp at Village Beema on 26th February 2026, under the supervision of Block Medical Officer (BMO), Khaltse, Dr. Shamim Ahmed. The camp aimed to provide specialised healthcare services to the remote community.
The medical team comprised the following doctors and paramedical staff:
Dr. Padma Ladol- Gynaecologist,
Dr. Stanzin Choeying – Dental Surgeon,
Dr. Stanzin Phunchok – Medical Officer and concerned paramedical staff.
A total of 72 patients benefited from the camp. The speciality-wise breakup is as follows:
Gynaecology: 25 patients (including antenatal check-ups)
Dental: 25 patients (consultations and extractions)
NCD Screening: 22 patients (screened for diabetes and hypertension).
In addition to consultations, a total of 168 laboratory tests were conducted during the camp.
The camp concluded successfully, providing essential healthcare services and medical relief to the residents of Village Beema.
