Chumikchan Delegation Meets CEC Kargil, Seeks Early Compensation; Issues Addressed on the Spot.
Kargil, March 30, 2026: A delegation from Chumikchan called on the Hon’ble Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon today.
During the meeting, the delegation raised several issues, including the early disbursement of land and tree compensation for the link road from Aba Groung–Btakhar–Chumikchan, Sankoo. They also expressed their gratitude for the ongoing developmental works in their constituency.
Dr. Akhoon gave a patient hearing to the concerns raised and assured the delegation that all possible assistance would be extended. He also resolved the tree compensation paperwork on the spot.
