CPO Leh Reviews Status of Projects Undertaken by R&B Division, Leh under District CAPEX.
Leh, July 28, 2025: Chief Planning Officer, Leh Tsewang Gyalson held a detailed review meeting with Roads and Buildings (R&B) Division, PWD Leh at VC Room, DC Office, Leh on July 28, as part of the ongoing review meetings to ensure timely execution of all developmental projects under the District Capex Budget.
During the meeting officials from R&B Division, Leh presented a comprehensive report along with site photographs on ongoing works, expenditure incurred under the District Capex plan.
CPO, Leh emphasized the importance of avoiding unnecessary or redundant work in order to optimize financial resources. He instructed all officers to thoroughly check and verify content of DPRs before accord of AA.
He further stressed that the primary objective of meeting is to expedite expenditure against the allocated budget and to ensure close coordination with Junior Engineers for achieving optimum progress & monitoring of ongoing works at the grassroots level. He also appreciated departments for the photographic documentation of all the works showing evidence of work-in-progress and stated that such practices will enhance transparency and accountability.
