DC Drass inspects ongoing work of CT Scan facility in Drass Hospital.
Drass, June 16, 2026: Deputy Commissioner, Drass, Imteeaz Kacho today visited the District Hospital of Drass and conducted a detailed inspection of the Trauma Unit and other healthcare facilities. He was accompanied by Councillor LAHDC-Kargil, Abdul Samad and Block Medical Officer Dr. Sajjad Hussain during the visit.
The Deputy Commissioner took stock of the ongoing work of the CT Scan facility and passed instructions for its completion at the earliest as the possible date for inauguration of the unit is fast approaching.
The Deputy Commissioner also reviewed the available medical infrastructure, equipment and patient care services and emphasized the importance of maintaining cleanliness, availability of essential medicines and provision of timely and quality healthcare to patients. He assured that genuine issues requiring administrative intervention would be examined for appropriate action.
