DC Drass Takes Stock of New School Building Project of Bhimbat Higher Secondary School.
Drass, August 17, 2026: The Deputy Commissioner Drass Imteeaz Kacho (JKAS) today inspected the ongoing construction work of the new building of Government Higher Secondary School in Bhimbat. He accompanied by Principal of the school Tashi Gyalsan and his staff; Junior Engineer Shah Jahaan; Lambardar of Bhimbat Mohammad Ibrahim and other concerned officials.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner conducted a detailed inspection of the under-construction building, visited various rooms and reviewed the overall progress of the work. Detailed discussions were held regarding construction quality, infrastructure requirements and the future development of the institution. He emphasized that the new school building should be developed with high-quality infrastructure and proper planning, keeping in view the long-term educational needs of students. He stressed that the institution should be developed as a model school with modern facilities and standards capable of matching national-level institutions.
Special emphasis was laid on the development of a proper playground and adequate sports facilities, along with well-maintained washrooms, a modern library and other essential educational amenities.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officials to ensure quality workmanship, optimum utilization of available space and timely completion of the construction work. He further stressed that the new building should provide students with a safe, modern and conducive learning environment.
