DC Kargil Reviews Arrangements for Smooth Conduct of NEET Examination.
Kargil, June 16, 2026: Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC Kargil, Rakesh Kumar today chaired a meeting to review preparations for the smooth and secure conduct of the NEET Examination in the district.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held regarding security arrangements, traffic management, parking facilities, and adherence to examination guidelines. The Deputy Commissioner directed all concerned departments to strictly follow the prescribed guidelines to ensure the fair and hassle-free conduct of the examination.
The Deputy Commissioner reviewed arrangements for signal jammers at examination centres. He also emphasized effective traffic regulation around examination venues and directed that adequate parking facilities be arranged at a safe distance from the centres.
The Deputy Commissioner also reviewed arrangements for the safe transportation and secure handling of examination papers and other confidential materials. He directed the concerned officials to ensure that all examination-related materials are transported and stored in accordance with prescribed protocols.
The meeting further discussed seating arrangements, examination hall preparedness, deployment of staff, and other logistical requirements to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination.
The Municipal Committee and District Police were instructed to coordinate and make necessary arrangements for the parking and adjustment of vehicles to avoid congestion and ensure smooth movement of candidates and their guardians.
The meeting was attended by the Additional Deputy Commissioner, NEET officials, Traffic Police officials, Assistant Director Tourism, representatives from the Education Department, Executive Engineer concerned, and representatives of various departments.
