DC Kargil reviews tourism development projects at Sangam View Point.
Kargil, October 28, 2025: Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC Kargil, Rakesh Kumar, along with Executive Engineer, Kargil Development Authority (KDA), Syed Mehdi, conducted a site visit to Sangam View Point in Kargil to review the progress of an ongoing tourism development project.
The visit was aimed at assessing the commencement of work and review preparations for a comprehensive tourism development initiative. The project includes the development, operation, maintenance and management of tourism-related infrastructure to promote attractions along the Line of Control (LOC) and Hunderman village under the Swadesh Darshan 2.0 scheme.
The development work is being executed by Magpie Enterprises under the direct guidance and supervision of the Kargil Development Authority (KDA).
