DC Leh approved 46 Time Bound Promotions and 6 Functional Promotions of various departments.

Leh, November 16, 2024: The Deputy Commissioner Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve chaired a meeting with District Level Committee to review the Functional/ Non Functional Promotions and Compassionate Appointments under SRO-43 on November 16 at VC Room, DC Office, Leh.
The Deputy Commissioner, Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve granted a total of 46 Time Bound Promotions and 6 functional promotions during the meeting. The promotions included 33 cases of Time Bound Promotions in the Revenue Department, 7 cases in Motor Garages Department, 2 cases each in Education Department and Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department amongst other departments. Functional promotions included 4 cases from Animal Husbandry Department and 2 cases from Motor Garages Department. Compassionate appointments were instructed to be reviewed again.
The Deputy Commissioner Leh directed all the HoDs to ensure timely submission of promotion cases. The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Ghulam Mohd., Deputy Director Employment Leh Delex Namgyal, Headquarter Assistant Rigzin Yangdol along with Head of various departments.
