DC Leh Santosh Sukhadeve reviews progress of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra campaign.

Leh, Dec 12, 2023: Deputy Commissioner, Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve today chaired a meeting to discuss the progress of ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Leh District.
The meeting focused on discussing the achievements and challenges encountered during the campaign.
During the meeting, Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Leh, Sonam Nurboo, provided a detailed update on the progress of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra camp in the district.
He added that 55 panchayats had been covered, with a remarkable participation of 6,092 individuals. Additionally, the “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani” initiative witnessed 177 participants, while 4,462 people were screened.
Further, added that a total of 624 people were issued Ayushman Bharat card, with 412 registrations in the Suraksha Bima Yojana. Notably, 318 students and 49 local artists were honored during the campaign.
DC Leh emphasized the primary objectives of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, aiming to saturate all the relevant schemes. He scrutinized the progress report scheme-wise, covering initiatives such as Ujjwala Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), PM Vishwakarma, Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), Garib Kalyan Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, among others.
In line with the commitment to achieving 100% saturation in eligible schemes, DC Leh directed all officers to compile block-wise achievement reports for the specific campaign. He focussed on targeting the set objectives to ensure comprehensive coverage of the schemes.
