DC Nubra Conducts Second Phase Visit to Khetod Yulsum Villages.
Nubra, May 14, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Nubra, Mukul Beniwal IAS, conducted the second phase of his tour to Khetod Yulsum villages, including Trith, Tsati, Rongdo, Agyam, Digger, Khungru, Khema, Tangyar, Rongjuk and Khalsar.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner congratulated the villagers on Nubra becoming a new district and interacted with the local residents to assess their grievances and developmental requirements.
The villagers raised various issues related to irrigation facilities, mobile network connectivity, power supply, Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM), drinking water supply, staff and infrastructure requirements in schools and health centres.
DC Nubra directed the concerned departments to take note of the issues raised by the villagers, conduct surveys wherever necessary, and ensure timely redressal of genuine demands. He assured the residents that efforts would be made to address their concerns in a prompt manner.
The visit was accompanied by SDM Nubra Jigmet Raftan JKAS along with other concerned officers and officials.
