DC Nubra Conducts Surprise Inspection of Higher Secondary School Diskit.
Nubra, June 17, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Nubra, Sh. Mukul Beniwal, IAS, conducted a surprise inspection of Higher Secondary School Diskit to review academic activities and attendance of staff and students.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed attendance records of staff and students, enquired into cases of frequent absenteeism, and assessed any irregularities in attendance patterns.
The DC interacted with students of Classes 10th, 11th, and 12th and enquired about the syllabus covered so far. He also posed questions on various subjects and assessed the students conceptual understanding through practical examples and discussions.
Reviewing the teaching-learning process, the Deputy Commissioner directed the teaching staff to focus on strengthening students’ conceptual clarity and to make effective use of remedial classes for revision and regular assessment through questioning.
Addressing the students, he encouraged them to support and learn from one another, emphasizing that collaborative learning would help improve their understanding and performance in examinations.
The inspection was accompanied by Sub-Divisional Magistrate Nubra, Sh. Jigmet Raftan, JKAS.
