DC Nubra Convenes Review Meeting Regarding Celebration of International Yoga Day 2026.
Nubra, June 12, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Nubra, Sh. Mukul Beniwal, IAS, today chaired a review meeting at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Nubra, to discuss arrangements for the celebration of International Yoga Day 2026 across the district.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the preparations and assigned roles and responsibilities to the concerned departments.
He directed the concerned officers to make all necessary logistical arrangements, including venue preparation, public participation, inter-departmental coordination, and other related arrangements to ensure the successful observance of International Yoga Day 2026 in the district.
The meeting was attended by Sub-Divisional Magistrate Nubra, Jigmet Raftan, JKAS, Executive Engineer, PWD (R&B) Nubra, Principal, GDC Nubra, Block Medical Officer, Nubra, Block Veterinary Officer, Nubra, Principals from concerned schools and representatives from the Zonal Physical Education Office Nubra and Zonal Education Office Nubra.
