DC Nubra Holds Introductory Interaction Session with Lambardars.
Nubra, May 11, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Nubra, Mukul Beniwal IAS, today chaired an introductory interaction session with Lambardars at the DC Conference Hall to discuss their roles and responsibilities, strengthen coordination with the administration, and address key public issues.
The meeting began with the introduction of all Lambardars present. During the interaction, various issues including power supply, JJM-related concerns, network connectivity, shortage of doctors and medical staff, LPG supply, agriculture and horticulture subsidy discrepancies, land-related matters, and delay in hospital construction works were raised by the participants.
Deputy Commissioner highlighted the important regulatory and coordinating role of Lambardars and assured that grievances raised during the meeting would be taken up with the concerned departments. He stated that all developmental works would be carried out in consultation with Lambardars and stressed the need for proper communication and active public participation.
Superintendent of Police emphasized the importance of cooperation in tenant verification, checking of vehicles and shops, and addressed drug related issues.
The meeting was attended by Superintendent of Police Nubra, Stanzin Losal JKPS, SDM Nubra Jigmet Raftan JKAS, and Tehsildar Sumoor Tashi Jorgais and all the Lambardars of Nubra District.
