DC Nubra Reviews Progress of PMGSY Developmental Works in Nubra District.
Nubra, 29 July 2026: Deputy Commissioner, Nubra, Shri Mukul Beniwal, IAS, chaired a review meeting to assess the progress of developmental works under the PMGSY in Nubra District.
The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the overall physical and financial status of developmental works under PMGSY, including the upgradation and maintenance of roads from Udmaru to Hunder, Tsokstot to Tsaking, Hunder Dok, Khungru to Kheema, Tsati to Rongdo, and internal roads at Sumoor. Restoration works on flood-affected roads were also reviewed.
Representatives of PMGSY briefed the Chair on the status of ongoing road projects and the challenges affecting their execution. The Deputy Commissioner sought updates on the bottlenecks and directed the concerned agencies to resolve all pending issues promptly and expedite the works while ensuring quality and timely completion for the benefit of the public.
