Leh, November 19, 2025 — Press Day was observed at the Conference Hall of the DC Office Leh, organised by DIPR Leh under the presence of AD DIPR Rigzin Yangdol (JKAS), AD DDK Khursheed Yousuf, Press Club Leh members, and officials from DIPR. Journalists including Mourup Stanzin, Tsewang Rigzin, and Stanzin Desal participated in an open forum themed “Safeguarding Press Credibility Amidst Rising Misinformation, AI, and Deepfakes.”
Press Club President Mourup Stanzin thanked DIPR for organising the annual event and acknowledged the sincere efforts of the region’s journalist community.
In her closing remarks, AD DIPR assured that the highlighted grievances would be addressed in the next financial year and reaffirmed efforts to facilitate journalist exposure tours.
