DC Sham Chairs Departmental Review Meeting with Horticulture Department.
Khaltsi, September 22, 2026: The Deputy Commissioner, Sham, Smt. Kunzes Angmo (JKAS), today chaired a departmental review meeting with the Horticulture Department at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Khaltsi, to review the progress of various ongoing schemes, developmental activities and initiatives being implemented in the district.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the progress of departmental programmes and took stock of the implementation of various horticulture-related schemes and activities in the district.
During the meeting, Chief Horticulture Officer, Kunzang Wangmo, delivered a PowerPoint presentation highlighting the progress of various departmental schemes, ongoing activities and initiatives being implemented in the district.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the concerned officers to ensure effective implementation of government schemes, timely completion of ongoing activities and improved delivery of services to beneficiaries. She emphasised the importance of coordination and focused efforts towards strengthening the horticulture sector in District Sham.
The meeting was attended by Chief Horticulture Officer, Kunzang Wangmo; HDO Khaltsi, Dr. Stanzin Angmo; along with other concerned officials of the Horticulture Department.
