DC Sham Chairs Review Meeting with Sheep Husbandry Department.
Khaltse, September 17, 2026: Deputy Commissioner, Sham, Smt. Kunzes Angmo, JKAS, today chaired a review meeting with the Sheep Husbandry Department, District Sham, at the Conference Hall of the DC Office, Sham.
During the meeting, a comprehensive review of various activities and programmes being implemented by the department was undertaken. The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the progress of Centrally Sponsored Schemes, UT Schemes, and ongoing developmental works being executed under the Special Development Package (SDP) and State Capex.
District Sheep Husbandry Officer, Sham, Dr. Tundup Namgial, made a detailed PowerPoint presentation before the Deputy Commissioner, highlighting the physical and financial progress of various schemes, programmes and developmental works being implemented in the district.
The Deputy Commissioner took a detailed assessment of the progress of various schemes and works and discussed issues, if any, affecting their effective and timely implementation. She stressed the need for coordinated efforts, regular monitoring and timely completion of ongoing works to ensure that the intended benefits reach the beneficiaries.
The meeting was attended by District Sheep Husbandry Officer, Sham, Dr. Tundup Namgial; LDO, Khaltse, Dr. Padma Yangchen; and Flock Supervisors of the Sheep Husbandry Department, District Sham.
