DDAC Leh Celebrates International Women’s Day.
Leh, March 08, 2026: The District De-addiction Centre (DDAC), Leh celebrated International Women’s Day with great enthusiasm. The programme aimed to recognise the important role and contributions of women in society while promoting awareness on health and wellbeing.
On the occasion, Dr. Padma Angmo, Psychiatrist, attended the programme and shared her valuable insights on mental health and the importance of supporting women in maintaining emotional and psychological wellbeing.
Members of the CATS – Cultural and Traditional Society presented vibrant cultural performances, beautifully reflecting the rich traditions and cultural heritage of the region.
The programme was attended by staff members of DDAC Leh and students, whose participation added meaning and inspiration to the celebration. The event concluded with appreciation for the efforts and achievements of women and a renewed commitment towards promoting their wellbeing and empowerment in society.
