Delegation from Bodh Kharboo village called on the Hon’ble Lt Governor, Brig (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd).
Leh, March 13, 2023: A delegation of Bodh Kharboo led by Nambardar, Shri Tundup Dorjey called on the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Brigadier (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd) at Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat. Advisor to HLG, Dr Pawan Kotwal, IAS and Commissioner Secretary, Tourism, Kacho Mehboob Ali Khan, IRS were present in the meeting.
Shri Dorjey apprised the HLG that His Holiness the Dalia Lama is scheduled to visit Bodh Kharboo in 2025 and requested renovation of Photang in anticipation of this visit.
The HLG directed Commissioner Secretary, Tourism to include the renovation of Photang in the work plan and assured Shri Dorjey that every effort would be made to accommodate the request.
