A delegation comprising General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) students of Kargil led by Smt Farzana Batool called on the HLG at Raj Niwas.
The students apprised the HLG of the issues faced by them due to the closure of their classes as a result of the non-registration of General Nursing and Midwifery in Kargil under Ladakh Para Medical Council even after two months of their admission. The students requested the HLG for immediate registration of GNM students.
The HLG directed Additional Secretary, Health and Medical Education Department, Ladakh to discuss the issue with GAD Ladakh to ensure the registration of the nursing students at the earliest.
