Kargil, July 02, 2026: Deputy Commissioner, Kargil, Shri Rakesh Kumar today appreciated HDFC Bank and the District Social and Tribal Welfare Department, Kargil, for facilitating an employment opportunity for Mr. Mukhtar Hussain, a person with disability (PwD) from Parkachik.
The employment was made possible through the coordinated efforts of the District Social and Tribal Welfare Office, Kargil, reflecting its continued commitment towards promoting socio-economic empowerment and inclusive opportunities for persons with disabilities.
Congratulating Mr. Mukhtar Hussain on this significant achievement, the Deputy Commissioner lauded his determination, dedication, and perseverance in overcoming challenges to achieve success.
He also commended the proactive role of the District Social and Tribal Welfare Office, Kargil, in creating employment opportunities for persons with disabilities and ensuring their meaningful participation in the social and economic mainstream.
