Nubra, July 1, 2026: Deputy Commissioner Nubra, Sh. Mukul Beniwal IAS, reviewed the functioning of SDH Nubra with Block Medical Officer, doctors, and staff of sub district Hospital, Nubra, and discussed measures for strengthening healthcare services in the district.
During the review, the Deputy Commissioner assessed the overall functioning of the hospital, including OPD and IPD services, the availability of essential medicines, improvement in ABHA registration through village-wise and Anganwadi campaigns and Bio medical waste management in compliance with Solid Waste Management Rules 2026.
Key issues raised during the discussion included vacancies ,strengthening of teleconsultation services and requirement of additional 108 ambulance services during the peak season.
The Deputy Commissioner invited suggestions from the medical staff on the measures to improve functioning of the hospital and strengthen healthcare services for the people of Nubra.
He directed the concerned officials to adopt a proactive approach in addressing these issues requiring intervention from the District Administration.He also emphasised the importance of holding regular review meetings to monitor progress and further improve healthcare delivery at the hospital.
