Deputy Commissioner Sham Visits Skindiyang Village.
Khaltse, June 18, 2026: The Deputy Commissioner Sham, Smt. Kunzes Angmo (JKAS), visited Skindiyang Village today along with the Exen and AEE PWD Khaltse and Naib Tehsildar Khaltse.
During her visit, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with the villagers at the Community Hall, Skindiyang. The villagers raised several important issues, including poor mobile network connectivity, road infrastructure, and the requirement of a separate room for the Women Alliance.
The Deputy Commissioner also inspected the Middle School, Skindiyang, and the Anganwadi Centre, Skindiyang. She interacted with the staff and students and emphasized the need to increase enrolment in government schools through awareness and outreach drives.
She further visited the Medical Sub-Centre, Skindiyang, and inspected the under-construction sites of the hospital building, medical staff quarters, and the meditation hall at Lama Guru. She reviewed the progress of the ongoing works and directed the concerned departments to ensure timely completion while maintaining quality standards.
The Deputy Commissioner assured the villagers that their genuine concerns would be taken up with the concerned departments for necessary action.
