Deputy Registrar Cooperatives, Officials Attend Live Streaming of PM Kisan Utsav Diwas.
Kargil, November 19, 2025: The Deputy Registrar Cooperatives, Kargil, Dr Sarwar Shahzad (JKAS) along with officials from the Office of the Assistant Registrar Cooperatives, Kargil, participated in the live streaming of the PM Kisan Utsav Diwas organized by the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India.
In addition, the Assistant Registrars Cooperatives of Shargole, Drass, Chiktan, Tai Suru, and Zanskar joined the live event from their respective offices, ensuring proper representation.
The programme highlighted the achievements of the PM‑KISAN scheme, upcoming farmer‑focused initiatives, and the government’s commitment to agricultural development and farmer welfare. Senior officials, including the Hon’ble Prime Minister, addressed the nation, outlining policy measures to enhance income security and sustainability for farming communities.
Dr. Sarwar Shahzad highlighted the importance of cooperative outreach and urged all participants to cascade the information to farmers, ensuring they avail the benefits of government schemes. He also called for strengthening digital linkages and cooperative networks to improve service delivery across Kargil and its sub‑divisions.
The event concluded with an interactive session where queries from field officers were addressed, reinforcing collaborative efforts for the welfare of the agrarian sector.
