DIG NWF ITBP, artists from Young Artists of Kargil call on Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor Brig (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd).
Leh, Oct 03, 2023: Deputy Inspector General (DIG), North West Frontier (NWF) Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Shri Ravi Kumar called on the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Brigadier (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd), at Raj Niwas.
Shri Ravi apprised the HLG of the special recruitment rally to be conducted by them for the posts of 125 constables (general duty) Group C, including 114 males and 11 females. He informed that the date and reporting time for registration is between October 5 to October 8 at 5th Battalion, ITBP Choglamsar. He also informed that the posts of constables fall in Pay Level 3 (Rs 21,000-69,100).
Shri Ravi informed that the recruitment rally will take around 10-15 days and he also assured that efforts will be made to declare the results and hand over appointment letters to the selected candidates by the end of October. He requested the HLG for his assistance in maximum publicity for the recruitment rally so that the youth from Leh district could avail its benefits.
The HLG instructed the concerned officials to provide maximum coverage for the recruitment rally so that as many youth from Leh district could take part in the rally.
A delegation from Kargil comprising teacher Shri Sajad Hussain and artists from Young Artists of Kargil called on the HLG at Raj Niwas.
Shri Sajad informed the HLG that Young Artists of Kargil, also known as Stringmo (sisters) comprises 45 students from different parts of Kargil who are interested in painting, calligraphy and singing, etc. He requested the HLG for an exposure visit to these artists to an Art College outside Ladakh so that they can gain maximum benefit from the exposure tour.
The HLG appreciated Young Artists of Kargil and asked Shri Sajad to meet Deputy Commissioner, Kargil to see possible assistance for these young artists.
