Director RD&PRD launches ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ Cleanliness Drive in Kargil’s Pashkum Panchayat.

Director Rural Development and Panchayati Raj department (RD&PRD), UT Ladakh, Tahir Hussain Zubdavi today flagged off a cleanliness drive as part of the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign at Tharumsa, Pashkum Panchayat, Kargil.
The Director along with officials from RD&PRD Kargil, Line departments, SHG and PRI members, and local villagers, actively participated in various swachhata activities.
The participants also took a Swachhta Pledge to make this initiative a success and a part of daily lives.
The pledge underscores the collective commitment to cleanliness and upholds the principle that service to the community begins with cleanliness.
The initiative reaffirms the commitment of RD&PRD department towards creating a cleaner and healthier environment, echoing the nationwide ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’ mission’s sentiments.
The Director expressed profound gratitude towards all participants and emphasized the department’s unwavering commitment to the values and principles upheld by Mahatma Gandhi.
