District Administration Kargil organizes training program for polling staff for upcoming by-election in Thangdumbur Constituency.
Kargil, Sept 30, 2024: The District Administration Kargil today organized a training program for polling staff for the upcoming by-election in the Thangdumbur Constituency of the LAHDC, Kargil, at the NIC Kargil.
The training program discussed various aspects of election including operating EVMs and other electoral procedures to ensure that polling staff is well-prepared to oversee polling stations and facilitate fair and efficient voting process on Election Day, which is scheduled on Oct, 05, 2024.
The training was provided by DLMT and ALMTs.
The training was imparted by Master Trainer, Muhammad Ali (Lecturer) and Mohd Hussain (Lecturer).
The Master Trainers imparted training related to VVPAT/EVM and other election-related activities including documents, besides discussed duties and precautions to be observed by the polling staff.
