District Child Helpline Kargil organizes series of awareness programs at Panikhar.
Kargil, November 11, 2024: District Child Helpline, Kargil, today conducted a series of awareness programs at Government Higher Secondary School, Panikhar, focusing on Child Helpline No. 112 and critical child-related issues.
Chairperson of District Child Welfare Committee, Dr Niyaz Ali emphasized on child rights, sponsorship schemes and role of children in nation-building.
Legal cum Protection Officer Advocate Mohammad Ali highlighted the provisions of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
Project Coordinator, Child Helpline, Mumtaz Ali stressed the importance of Child Helpline No. 112. Supervisor, Child Helpline, Habibullah presented a comprehensive presentation.
The program was attended by hundreds of students from Panikhar and its adjoining areas. It aimed to educate and sensitize students about child protection and welfare.
