District Court Leh celebrated the 79th Independence Day

Leh, August 15, 2025: District Court Leh celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism. The event was attended by Hon’ble Pr. Distt. & Sessions Judge, Leh Mr. Manoj Parihar, Sh. Tsewang Phuntsog, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Leh, Smt. Phuntsog Angmo, Special Mobile Magistrate, Leh, Sh. Nawang Nurboo Sr. PO, Ld. APP and prosecution staff, Sh. Mohd Shafi Lassu, President Bar Association Leh with Bar Executive Members, Legal Aid Defence Counsel, Court Staff, Panel Lawyers and PLVs.
The celebration began with the hoisting of the National Flag by the Hon’ble Pr. Distt. & Sessions Judge, Leh Mr. Manoj Parihar. The unfurling of the tricolour was accompanied by the singing of the National Anthem by students of Govt. High School Housing Colony Leh filling the air with pride and reverence.
Principal District & Sessions Judge address the gathering, reflecting on the significance of Independence Day. He also emphasized the importance of rights, duties, unity and the collective responsibilities of citizens in nation building.
The event concluded with a patriotic song performed by the students of Govt. High School Housing Colony and Adv. Lobzang Angdus.
