District Election Officer Leh visits EVM warehouse for Quarterly Inspection.
Leh, July 3, 2025 – The second quarterly inspection of the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) warehouse in Leh was conducted today at the Sindhu Sanskriti Kendra. The inspection was led by District Election Officer/ Deputy Commissioner Leh Romil Singh Donk, SSP Leh Shruti Arora and Assistant Chief Electoral Officer Delex Namgyal, with representatives from various political parties also present.
During the inspection, officials thoroughly checked the functionality of CCTV cameras for both day and night surveillance. Additionally, the Deputy Commissioner directed that the window closures be upgraded from plywood to cement for enhanced security.
This quarterly review is a standard procedure, and the presence of political party representatives during the opening and closing of the facility is a recognized protocol.
