District Police Kargil organizes entrepreneurship workshop under civic action program.

Kargil, Dec 10, 2024: District Police Kargil, under the leadership and guidance of SSP Kargil, Shree Raam R (IPS) today successfully organized an Entrepreneurship Workshop aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and supporting start-ups in the region.
The event, held under the civic action program, witnessed enthusiastic participation from aspiring entrepreneurs, trainees from Handloom, and students from ITI Kargil.
The workshop brought together experts and resource persons from prominent banks like J&K Bank, HDFC Bank and various government departments, including Handlooms, Handicrafts, and Industries.
They provided valuable insights into government schemes and financial loans available for start-ups, empowering the participants to embark on their entrepreneurial journeys. To enhance understanding, several departments and banks set up informative stalls to showcase their services.
Deputy Superintendent DAR, Tundup, graced the occasion as the chief guest. The program commenced with a warm welcome speech by SHO Kargil, Kacho Sadat Ali, who highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship in the socio-economic development of the region.
Throughout the event, resource persons presented detailed information on various government initiatives designed to assist budding entrepreneurs. The interactive sessions provided participants with practical knowledge and networking opportunities, laying a strong foundation for future ventures.
The workshop concluded with a closing address by Deputy Superintendent DAR, who expressed his appreciation for the participants and resource persons. He emphasized the unwavering commitment of District Police Kargil to support the people of Kargil in every possible way.
