    DLSA Kargil organise orientation cum training programme covering various NALSA Schemes.
    Kargil, June 24, 2025 – District Legal Services Authority, Kargil organised an orientation cum training programme here at Conference Hall Baroo today, covering various NALSA Schemes.
    The programme was aimed to spread awareness on NALSA (Child Friendly Legal Services for Children) Scheme, 2024, NALSA (Legal Services to Persons with Mental Illness and Person with intellectual disabilities) Scheme, 2024., Campaign SAATHI: “Survey for Aadhar and Access to Tracking & Holistic Inclusion”, and NALSA (ASHA-Awareness, Support, Help and Action).
    The orientation and training programme was attended by Ms. Spalzes Angmo Chairman, DLSA Kargil, Mr. OP Thakur District Judge (Retd.) through virtual mode, Mr. Chemit Yurgyal Secretary DLSA Kargil, Ms. Deldan Angmo Chairman TLSC Sankoo, Shri Kacho Imteeaz Additional District Magistrate, Ms. Samina Khatoon District Social Welfare Officer, Dr Rabiya Banoo District Immunization Officer, Advocate Zarina Banoo Deputy Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel, Advocate Nissar Hussain Assistant Legal Aid Defense Counsel, Advocate Ghulam Murtaza Panel Lawyer, Advocate Kacho Manzoor Panel Lawyer, Dy.S.P Head Quarter Kargil, Dr. Niaz Ali Chairperson CWC Kargil Child Welfare Police Officer, and all the Adhikar Mitra’ s (PLV’ s) of District Kargil and other members of the committee constituted under the schemes and campaigns.
    Mr. Chemit Yurgyal Secretary DLSA Kargil delivered the welcome address and gave a brief introduction of the schemes and campaigns. Ms. Spalzes Angmo Chairman, DLSA Kargil, addressed the gathering and emphasized on the obligations of the state under the constitution to the marginalized classes of society as per the directive principles of state policy. Chairman DLSA Kargil stressed on the importance of these schemes andits implementation.
    The orientation on NALSA (Child Friendly Legal Services for Children) Scheme, 2024 was given by Dr. Niaz Ali Chairperson CWC and Adv. Nissar Hussain Astt. LADC, where they introduced and presented the aim and scope of the scheme minutely. The orientation on the second NALSA (Legal Services to Persons with Mental Illness andPerson with intellectual disabilities) Scheme, 2024 was presented before the gathering by Adv. Zarina Banoo Dy. Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel and Advocate Kacho Manzoor Ali Khan Panel lawyer.
    Mr. Kacho Imteeaz ADC Kargil spoke on the role and importance of the committee members constituted in these schemes and also the role of departments of district administration to work as a team to deliver the justice on time and in best manner.
    The concluding speech was delivered by Shri. O P Thakur District Judge (Retd.) who emphasised on awareness of such schemes and at large scale. He also touched on the important aspects of the schemes.
    The post lunch session on Campaign SAATHI: “Survey for Aadhar and Access to Tracking & Holistic Inclusion” and NALSA (ASHA-Awareness, Support, Help and Action) was conducted by Mr. Chemit Yurgyal Secretary, DLSA Kargil through Power Point Presentation.
