DLSA Kargil organizes 1st National Lok Adalat.

Kargil, March 09, 2024: As per the direction of Ladakh Legal Services Authority, the District Legal Services Authority Kargil today organized 1st National Lok Adalat in which Six Benches were constituted for different kinds of cases.
These cases were pending in Courts like Criminal Compoundable matters, cases u/s 138 NI Act. MACT cases, Bank recovery cases, Matrimonial disputes and other civil cases etc.
The first bench was presided over by Malik Shabeer Ahmad Ld. Charmin DLSA/PDSJ Kargil, the second bench was presided over by Fariqa Nazir, the third bench was presided over by Shafiq Mustaq Lone Ld. Munsiff/JMIC Sankoo, the fourth bench was presided over by Imran Hanif Ld. Munsiff Drass, fifth bench was presided over by Assistant Commission Revenue Kargil, Mohammad Sharief, and the sixth bench was presided over by SDM Zanskar.
A total number of 286 cases were referred to the National Lok Adalat out of the same total number of 212 cases were disposed of and out of the same, an amount of Rs 1,606,650 was recovered as a settlement amount.
