DLSA Kargil organizes awareness program on public utility services, central government welfare schemes.

Kargil, Sep 26, 2023: As per the plan of action and calendar of activities, District Legal Services Authority, Kargil today organized an awareness programme on ‘Public Utility Services and Central Government Welfare Schemes’ at Sawab Public Secondary School Baroo, Kargil.
The program was attended by Principal, Teaching and Non teaching staff, and students of the said school, DLSA staff members and PLVs.
Advocate Nissar Hussain Assistance Legal Aid Defense Counsel Kargil who was the resource person on the occasion thoroughly highlighted the importance and significance of event.
He also said that public utilities are concerned with the supply of essential products and services. In the absence of the services the normal life of the individual will be disturbed. Public utilities are mainly meant for supply of services to the consumer. These services should be provided with reasonable rate this service includes supply of water to homes, Supply of electricity, postal system, Banking system and Railways etc.
He also highlighted some important central government schemes like, Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao, Ujala Yojana, National Ayush Mission etc.
In he end, Mohammad Shareef, principal, Sawab Public Secondary School Baroo thanked DLSA Kargil for organizing such fruitful awareness programme in their School.
