Drug Awareness Camp Held at Fotoksar Village.
Leh: The District Social Welfare Office, Leh conducted a drug awareness camp at Fotoksar Village, *Sham District* under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan Month. The programme focused on sensitising the community, particularly youth, about the harmful effects of substance abuse and the importance of collective efforts towards a drug-free society.
Awareness was also created about the District De-Addiction Centre (DDAC), Leh and the counselling and rehabilitation services available for persons affected by substance abuse.
As part of the outreach, pension verification was also conducted for beneficiaries.
