EC Kacho Mohammad Feroz hoists unfurls national flag Council Secretariat.
Kargil, Jan 26, 2025: Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Kargil, Kacho Mohammad Feroz today unfurled the national flag at Council Secretariat, Kargil on the 76th Republic Day. Officials and staff of LAHDC, Kargil attended the ceremony.
EC Feroz briefed the gathering about the historical evolution of Indian fundamental rights and duties, emphasizing the importance of remembering the sacrifices of Indian freedom fighters.
He also highlighted the collaborative efforts of the UT Administration and the Hill Council towards developing Kargil’s sports, education, health, and tourism sectors.
The Executive Councillor mentioned various initiatives, including connectivity improvement, road and building infrastructure development, and tourism promotion.
He specifically mentioned the recognition of Suru Valley, sports, winter tourism promotion, and ice hockey rink improvement. Feroz also expressed pride in the district administration’s efficient functioning for which Deputy Commissioner Kargil, Shrikant Balasaheb Suse was recently honored with the prestigious Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration.
The LAHDC is committed to Kargil’s overall development, and Feroz reaffirmed this pledge on the occasion of Republic Day. The ceremony concluded with a renewed sense of patriotism and dedication to the region’s progress.
