EC Tashi attends concluding ceremony of 2-day workshop on digital content development for teachers of Zanskar.

Kargil, July 20, 2023: Executive Councilor, Tourism, RD and Zanskar Affairs, LAHDC, Kargil, Er. Phunchok Tashi today attended the concluding ceremony of the 2-day training/workshop on “digital content development” for teachers of Sub Division, Zanskar organized by the District Institute of Education and Trainings (DIET), Kargil from July 19.
Principal DIET, Kargil, Abdul Qayoom, Principal, Govt. Model Degree College Zanskar, Dr Mohd. Ishaq, Zonal Education Officer Zanskar, Tsetan Konchok and around 50 teachers were present during the concluding function.
The incharge of the workshop, Dr Villayat Ali, Senior Lecturer, DIET Kargil welcomed the EC and other dignitaries and gave a detailed introduction about the workshop.
He requested EC Tashi to provide funds for the construction of the Hi-Tech Hall, as there is a dire need to conduct such training in the future.
While speaking on the occasion, the EC, who was the event’s chief guest, appreciated the participating teachers and instructed them to implement the New Education Policy.
He also appreciated the visiting team of DIET Kargil headed by DIET Principal for conducting such training to the remote area of the district to promote New Education Policy.
The participants also displayed short skits about the NEP and its implementation. The Principal DIET thanked the EC for attending the event and appreciated EC Tashi’s vision toward the education policy.
