Kargil, February 4, 2026: The Executive Councillor, LAHDC Kargil, Er Punchok Tashi, on behalf of the people of Zanskar and Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Kargil, has extended warm congratulations to Dr Padma Gurmath, Director, National Institute of Sowa Rigpa, Ladakh, on being conferred with the prestigious UT Gold Medal and Padma Shri Award 2026.
