EC Tashi inaugurates Anganwadi Center at Padum/Skidsherak.
Zanskar, August 07, 2025 – Hon’ble Executive Councillor RDD, Panchayati Raj, Forest, ZDA and Information LAHDC, Kargil Er. Phunchok Tashi inaugurated newly constructed building of Anganwadi centre Padum/Skidsherak Zanskar today in the presence of Sub Divisional Magistrate Zanskar Sh. Mohd. Hassan.
The event was also attended by CDPO Tashi Gurmath, JE R&B, concerned contractor, ICDS staff and Anganwadi workers and helpers. The Building was constructed at an estimated cost of 65 lacs executed by R&B Division Zanskar.
The Anganwadi workers request Hon’ble EC to provide the furnitures and kitchen items etc for the center and EC Tashi assured them to furnish all the requirements for the centre. He further advised the workers and helpers to do their best during their duties and do best take care of the Anganwadi children. SDM also stressed to keep the centre hygiene and healthy.
EC Tashi, SDM and CDPO Zanskar appreciated the work done by the concerned contractor Gulam Ahmed Wani from Padum.
