EC Tashi reviews preparations for 9th Ladakh Zanskar Festival.
Kargil, Sept 07, 2024: Executive Councilor (Rural Development and Panchayati Raj/ Cooperative/FCS&CA/Forest & Wild Life/Information) LAHDC, Kargil, Er. Punchok Tashi today chaired a meeting and reviewed preparations ahead of the 9th Edition of Ladakh Zanskar Festival-2024, scheduled on 13th and 14th Sept in Zanskar.
After thorough discussions, it was finalized that the venue will be set up at Sani, Zanskar. All Lambardars of Zanskar were requested to participate in the event by providing folk singers, dancers, and other activities, while also cooperating with the administration to ensure its success.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Secretary Culture Academic Kargil, Nazir Hussain; Deputy Secretary Culture Academic Leh, Tsewang Paljor, Incharge Sub Divisional Magistrate Zanskar, Mohd Hassan and other Sub Divisional level officers. It was also disclosed by Deputy Secretary Culture Academic Kargil that various stalls will be installed at the venue.
