Education Department Officials engage with parents and teachers at Model School, Saboo.
Leh, Oct 27, 2025: The Administrative Secretary, School Education Department, UT Ladakh, Bhanu Prabha and Director, School Education Department, UT Ladakh, Tashi Dolma held an open discussion at Council Model School, Saboo with the parents and teachers along with Chief Education Officer, Leh, Deldan Angmo, Zonal Education Officer, Leh, Padma Dechen and In-Charge Child Development Project Officer, Leh, Tsering Youtol on October 25.
The open discussion began with a brief report by the Headmaster, Lobzang Tsering Rahula regarding the statistics of the school, the recent infrastructure developments and future plans for the school. The Chairman, Village Education Committee (VEC), Rinchen Tundup laid down the essential requirements for the future betterment of the school and the issues that the school is currently facing. The parents of the students also shared their grievances and other issues in the open discussion and were assured by the Administrative Secretary and the Director that these issues will be resolved as soon as possible and also applauded the village community for contributing to the success of the school.
The Administrative Secretary, School Education Department, UT Ladakh, Bhanu Prabha assured the full support of the Department and also announced addition of more classrooms in the school this year. Additionally, Director, School Education Department, UT Ladakh, Tashi Dolma appreciated the contribution by the village community in making Government Middle School Saboo a Model School and setting an example for the other villages. She assured that the Department will take up the issues by the parents and teachers on priority basis and take immediate actions.
