Education Secretary reviews schemes, trainings and remedial classes in UT Ladakh.
Leh, Oct 28, 2025: The Administrative Secretary, School Education Department (SED), UT Ladakh, Bhanu Prabha conducted a review meeting today on Oct 27 at the Chief Education Officer’s Office, Leh with the Department officials. Present during the meeting were Director, SED, UT Ladakh, Chief Education Officer, Leh, Chief Education Officer, Kargil, Principal, DIET, Leh, Principal, DIET, Kargil and District Planning Officer, Leh.
The Administrative Secretary firstly reviewed the expenditure status of the various components under Saamagra Shiksha Scheme and held an extensive discussion on the co-location of Anganwadi Centers and Balvatiaks in Government schools.
Additionally, she also reviewed the status of training of the wardens of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) hostels and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Residential hostels which was followed by an assessment of the ongoing remedial classes in High Schools and Higher Secondary Schools.
