EJM College Leh Cadets Excel at 10- Day ATC Camp at LARC Phyang.
Leh, May 2026: Around 89 cadets from the NCC Unit of Government Eliezer Joldan Memorial (EJM) College Leh participated in the 10-day Annual Training Camp (ATC) conducted at LARC Phyang from 5 May to 14 May 2026. The camp focused on discipline, leadership, physical fitness, teamwork, firing, drill, and adventure-based activities.
The EJM College contingent, accompanied by ANO Lt Dr. Ujwala A. Koche, actively participated in various competitions and displayed outstanding performance throughout the camp. The cadets brought laurels to the college by securing several winner and runner-up positions in different events.
The achievements of EJM College cadets include:
* Volleyball (Boys) – Winners
* Volleyball (Girls) – Winners
* Tug of War (Boys) – Winners
* Tug of War (Girls) – Runner-up
* Tent Pitching (Girls) – Winners
* Guard of Honour (Boys) – Winners
* Guard of Honour (Girls) – Runner-up
* Firing Competition – Cadet Kaniz Fatima secured the “Best Firer” award
The cadets also performed excellently in drill, discipline, and other camp activities conducted during the training programme.
Principal Prof. Stanzin Yangdol congratulated the cadets and NCC staff for their commendable achievements and appreciated their hard work, discipline, and dedication.
ANO Lt Dr. Ujwala A. Koche appreciated the enthusiasm and sincere efforts of the cadets during the camp and encouraged them to continue participating actively in NCC activities for personality development, leadership, and national service.
The camp concluded with prize distribution and cultural programmes in the presence of NCC officers, instructors, and participating cadets from various institutions.
