Electoral Preparedness and Awareness Activities Intensified in Saspol Block.

Khaltsi : September 20, 2026: In a bid to ensure smooth and timely conduct of the electoral process at the grassroots level, the Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (AERO), Saspol, Mr. Manzoor Hussain, BDO Saspol, has initiated a series of awareness and facilitation activities across the Saspol Block.
Multiple camps have been organised in different Panchayats under the supervision of the Panchayat Inspectors and under the directions of the BDO, Saspol, in coordination with Booth Level Officers (BLOs), PEBOs, Numbadars and local citizens. The camps focus on voter awareness, citizen facilitation and addressing booth-level issues.
The AERO has also held meetings with all PEBOs to review preparedness and strengthen coordination for effective implementation of the electoral process. As part of the outreach exercise, Panchayat Inspectors, along with PEBOs, BLOs, Numbadars and other local representatives, have visited polling booths and interacted with the local community to assess preparedness and disseminate relevant information.
Wide publicity is also being undertaken through village-level interactions, WhatsApp groups and other community communication channels to ensure that electoral information reaches residents effectively.
The AERO informed that the exercise will continue Panchayat-wise as per the scheduled programme, with further camps, awareness activities and booth visits being undertaken in the coming days. The ERO, AERO and other concerned officials will also undertake random field visits to monitor preparedness and ensure timely completion of assigned electoral activities.
The electoral machinery has urged BLOs, PEBOs, Numbadars, Panchayat representatives and citizens to actively participate and extend cooperation in the ongoing exercise to ensure a smooth, inclusive and efficient electoral process across Saspol Block.
