Executive Councilors attend result declaration ceremony at Chiktan GHS, Samrah and Govt Middle School Shakardoo.
Kargil, November 06 : Executive Councillor for Education, Zakir Hussain, and Executive Councillor for Tourism, Kacho Mohd Feroz Khan, today graced the result declaration ceremony at Government High School, Samrah, and Government Model Middle School, Shakardoo.
The event was attended by a distinguished gathering, including government officials, community leaders, and school faculty.
Accompanying the Executive Councillors were, Councillor, Chiktan, SDM Chiktan, Chief Education Officer, Kargil, and Tehsildar Chiktan, demonstrating the importance of this educational initiative.
During the ceremony, Executive Councillor Zakir Hussain expressed his commitment to educational reform, emphasizing the vital role of the villagers and the Chief Education Officer in achieving this goal.
He particularly highlighted the need to enhance student enrollment, assuring that any necessary measures will be taken to achieve this objective.
Additionally, he commended the dedication of local officers who have been instrumental in shaping the education landscape.
Executive Councillor, Kacho Mohd Feroz Khan shifted the focus to the concept of a model schools and proposed the idea of transforming the schools into solar-powered educational institutions, setting an example for the region. He extended his full support from the Council to make this vision a reality.
SDM Chiktan, Abdul Gaffar Zargar, provided a significant update by sharing that tenders have already been awarded for the construction of an additional school block, with work set to commence soon. He also urged villagers to enroll their children in government schools, highlighting the positive impact it can have in the community.
The dignitaries distributed the rewards to students, recognizing their achievements in various activities.
A special award was also presented to outstanding students who have shown exceptional dedication and skill and brought laurels to the school.
