First NCC Convocation ceremony celebrated at Govt Degree College Kargil.

Kargil, Nov 16, 2023: The first NCC Convocation organized by Department of Sports in collaboration with NCC wing GDC Kargil was held today.
On the occasion Major Gulzar Ahmad Mir First NCC Officer Kargil Ladakh graced the event as the chief guest. In his address he stressed the Cadets of GDC Kargil to actively participation in NCC to be able for greater contribution for social service in the communities.
Earlier, Murtaza Ali, Associate NCC Officer GDC Kargil presented the welcome address on behalf of Principal GDC Kargil. He briefed about the NCC training in the college campus. He said around 15 cadets have received NCC B and C Certificate while 4 cadets have been selected in Agniveer Jakli and Ladakh Scouts.
He thanked the training instructor of 1st Battalion NCC Ladakh for conducting training camps from time to time within the campus.
Later NCC B and C certificates were distributed among the Cadets.The event was attended by Padma Angchuk incharge Principal, Mohd Hasan Assistant Professor Education and Tsewang Lamo Activity Incharge GDC Kargil. The program ended with vote of thanks presented by Professor Gyalson.
