Football Match between the Indian Navy and UT Ladakh Scheduled for 7th July, Secretary Ravinder Kumar Inspects Venue.

Leh, July 03: Secretary to Hon’ble LG Ladakh/Administrative Secretary Youth Service & Sports Ravinder Kumar inspected Astro Turf Stadium, Leh ahead of the friendly football match scheduled to be played between Indian Navy and UT Ladakh on 7th July 2023.
The Secretary directed all the concerned departments to expedite works to ensure facilities, viz power supply, drinking water, proper seating arrangements, etc at the said venue. Directions were also given pertaining smooth management of traffic.
Indian Navy’s “Julley Ladakh” an outreach programme to Ladakh reached Leh on 30th June 2023 to increase awareness about the Indian Navy in the pristine state of Ladakh and to engage with youth and civil society as part of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mohatsav”.
Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Leh; Additional Director, Department of Information & Public Relations, Leh and officers from PWD; PHE; PDD; Traffic Police; and an administrative member of Ladakh Football Association were present during the visit.
