GAD Holds interactive session on Recruitment Rules and Promotion with UPSC Secretary.
Leh, April 15, 2026: The General Administration Department (GAD), UT Ladakh, convened an interactive session under the chairmanship of Shashi Ranjan Kumar, IAS, Secretary, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), at the Grand Dragon, Leh.
The meeting deliberated upon key matters related to Recruitment Rules and promotion policies, with a focus on streamlining administrative procedures and ensuring efficiency in personnel management within the Union Territory.
During the discussion, Shashi Ranjan Kumar emphasised the importance of well-defined Recruitment Rules and transparent promotion mechanisms to strengthen governance and institutional effectiveness.
The meeting was attended by P.T. Rudra Goud IAS, Secretary, GAD, along with the Tashi Dolma JKAS, Special Secretary; Mohd Taki JKAS, Under Secretary, GAD; Dorjey Gailson IAS, Under Secretary, GAD; Chhewang Rinchen, Section Officer, GAD and other officials of the General Administration Department.
The session concluded with constructive deliberations aimed at enhancing coordination and ensuring the effective implementation of Recruitment Rules and promotion frameworks in the UT Administration.
