GDC Drass commemorates International Justice Day.

Kargil, July 17, 2023: GDC Drass in collaboration with Tehsil Legal Services Authority Drass, today celebrated International Justice Day with great enthusiasm and commitment.
Esteemed guests and participants gathered to promote the principles of justice, equality, and access to legal services. Principal GDC Drass, Dr Amjad Ali Abassi, welcomed all guests and enlightened about the day and its importance and recognition.
The event was graced by the Chairman of Legal Services Authority, Imran Haneef Khan, as the chief guest. He emphasized on the importance of justice in fostering a fair and inclusive society. Imran Haneef Khan shared his vision for a legal system that upholds human rights, protects the vulnerable and ensures equal opportunities for all.
Advocate Talib Hussain, an esteemed expert speaker, delivered an enlightening talk on various aspects of international justice and its impact on global peace and development.
His insights shed light on the significance of a strong legal framework in addressing societal issues and promoting human rights on a global scale.
The event also provided a platform for student speakers to express their views on justice and its role in shaping society.
Assistant Professor, Environmental Science GDC Drass, conducted the program proceedings and shared thought-provoking insights from the student community.
Shakeeela Mehraj, a 3rd Semester student, expressed gratitude on behalf of the college’s students, faculty and staff in a heartfelt vote of thanks.
